International Symposium on Biodiversity and Sustainability (1 of 4)
An Expert Meeting on the International Satoyama Initiative Concept will take place at United Nations University Head Quarters on Saturday, 25 July 2009, convening eminent international scientists from various fields. The event is jointly organized by the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS), the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOE-J), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
